Memory of The King of Pop: Michael Jackson Passes away.

 jack_mike.jpg

Today is a sad day. The King of Pop, Michael Jackson has passed away at the age of 50 from cardiac arrest. Cardiac arrest means the heart stops beating.  However,he will not be remembered for the way he died but the way he lived.

I have to admit I have loved everything about Jackson since I was a little girl. He has always been amazingly gifted! I remember fondly as a child my brothers and me would get so excited to see Michael Jackson on tour flying through the air and moon walking! Not to mention he has a great voice!

I do not care who bad mouths Michael Jackson, he was an awesome guy and he seem to have been a naturally good person. He was definitely a rose in the concrete. I can not name an artist I watched and listened more to than I did to Jackson(and still will). When I am bored at work, I listen to Jackson. When I am in love, I listen to Jackson. I plan, if I live to see the day, play “The lady in my life,” at my wedding( yes, you can not marry me if you are not a hardcore fan of Michael Jackson or you have to be at least an Al Green fan).

I will still, every Halloween, play the song “Thriller” and try my best to imitate the classic music video! I will still listen to “Remember the times,” and think back how smooth Jackson was at everything he has done! I mean, NASA already sent his music out to space for the “aliens” to come across. You know you’re a bad mother f*ker when your talent gets sent out into the universe!

I will still admire Jackson and his hard work. He is proof that the  American dream of success and prosperity can still happen from hard work. He will live through his music and always be remembered for his heart of gold. May his soul be with God.

As for Fans, help his name live on by playing his music and remember him for his helping hand within the community. Today is a sad day for entertainment. I would have never guessed I’d live to see Jackson pass away. Until the day I see him moonwalk in heaven, I will remember him through his music! 13 number 1 hits, you’ve done a damn good job! Rest in Peace Michael Jackson!

Jackson is survived by his three children: Michael Joseph Jackson, Jr., Paris Michael Katherine Jackson and Prince “Blanket” Michael Jackson II.
