Healthy Choice: Crab-cakes!

Now, a girl born and raised in Baltimore,Maryland would recommend crab-cakes as a healthy choice! Not fattening and has a great taste to it! Great for breakfast, lunch and dinner!You can buy it fresh at a farmer’s market or your corner grocery store. I got some crab meat for 10 dollars at shoppers market. It is enough to make about 7 decent sized crabcakes.You need 1 cup of mayonnaise, old bay crabmeat seasoning, bread crumbs, 1 egg, and 3 egg yolks! Mix them all together in a medium sized bowl! Now, you are ready to cook them! I usually use olive oil or vegetable oil to fried them in a pan skillet! I do this for 4 minutes on each crab-cake, per side. Then, I bake them.I heat the oven at 425 for 15 to 20 minutes. Just to make them solid enough,but do not overcook them! You will have rocks for crabmeat and that is not great!Once done, you can make a side soup, serve with fries or make a salad with them! It is a great dish and makes for a great meal! It takes about 30 minutes all together! Enjoy!
